2004 Oscar Nominations
My Pics for 2004 Golden Globes
I did not get all my wishes but I was happy, overall with the surprising Under Dog winners and the sweep of 'Lord of the Rings'.
The next question is will Oscar level out the playing field and reward the GG losers?
The show itself was pretty dull and had an unrefined change of pace. I found myself wishing for an Ashton K. PUNKED moment to break the routine.
Everyone remember to thank the Hollywood Foreign Press this year. I think your bored at home if you are checking up on things like that. There seemed to be several of those ' you had to be there' moments. Lots of esoteric banter in general. It was still surprising to see some of the newly divorced celebs still showing up stag. I think the FAB 5 should help Joan on the red carpet next year.
It's time for the award shows to get psyched again and let go of some of the whoa stemming from current events. The show must go on and Hollywood owes it to itself to do just that.
